Owen Busch

Senior Associate Owen Busch is a seasoned aviation industry executive with nearly 30 years of leadership experience in sales, business development, and operations within Business and General Aviation (BGA). He has held senior roles at BGA industry leaders such as Signature Flight Support (now Signature Aviation), Avfuel Corporation, and World Fuel Services (now World Kinect Corporation).

At Avfuel, Busch managed business development and the global aviation fuel supply chain and played a key role in developing the Avflight FBO network, leveraging expertise gained during his tenure at Signature Flight Support, where he led FBO acquisitions during a period of rapid expansion. Recruited by World Fuel Services, he was instrumental in organizing, optimizing, and managing a portfolio of acquired aviation companies. He also led the North American Business Aviation sales and marketing organization before stepping away in 2017.

In 2019, Signature Aviation engaged Busch to help integrate Epic Fuels into its operations and lead Epic’s sales division. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles on NATA committees and actively contributed to industry groups focused on FBO operations and aviation fuel.

Busch holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BS in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). A former collegiate athlete, he is also a member of ERAU’s Athletic Hall of Fame for men’s basketball.
