Ty Kronk

As a Senior Associate with FBO Partners, Mr. Kronk leads the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) consulting division of FBO Partners. This includes effectively maintaining aircraft assets while in operation and during maintenance events.  Prior to joining FBO Partners, Mr. Kronk spent 19 years with NetJets, the largest aircraft fractional ownership provider in the world. Mr. Kronk held several MRO-related roles during his career with NetJets, ultimately becoming Vice President, Technical Operations, where he was responsible for the aircraft maintenance operations of the Part 135 certificate, as well as managing regulatory, cost, and service goals for the aircraft maintenance team. In addition to his maintenance oversight of the 400+ NetJets aircraft fleet, Mr. Kronk formalized the Technical Operations team, developed and implemented maintenance planning and engineering departments, and merged two FAA operating certificates into a single General Maintenance Manual, achieving FAA approval.  Before joining NetJets, Mr. Kronk served with distinction in the United States Air Force as a Dedicated Crew Chief/Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Systems for the F-117A Stealth Fighter, in Alamogordo, NM. Mr. Kronk holds both Master’s (M.S) and Bachelor’s (B.S.) degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, is an FAA-licensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic and Private Pilot, and has received the FAA’s Maintenance Technician Gold and Bronze Awards. (2002, 2008). In addition to his role with FBO Partners, Mr. Kronk is the President of Oak Tree Industries (OTI), a company that specializes in aircraft maintenance management with a focus on technical support and best practices for business aircraft operators. Mr. Kronk has direct maintenance experience and has participated in several OEM Guaranteed Maintenance Programs (GMPs), and has performed Director of Maintenance duties with responsibilities for certificate quality functions.
