Prior to forming FBO Capital Group and joining FBO Partners, Wenrich was the Director of Business Development, and Corporate Pilot, at Centrex - the preeminent hangar and FBO turnkey design and construction firm in the Western US.
His roles included pre-development due diligence, site selection, site planning, airport negotiation, hangar optimization, financial modeling, and corporate strategy. His referral approach to business development led to a backlog of over $150 million of bespoke aviation projects prior to his exit to form FBOCG. In short, his responsibility for 80% of sales yielded a 25% CAGR, while helping to triple the firm’s region, network, and average deal value.
Prior to joining Centrex in 2013, Wenrich served native Alaskan kids learning how to fly as a Flight Instructor and A&P at Kingdom Air Corps, followed by two years as a charter pilot and flight school manager in the Portland, OR area. Currently he is an active member of NATA’s National Airport Business and Environmental Committees, and co-chair of its NFPA 409 re-write subcommittee leading the industry’s efforts to eliminate widespread and unnecessary damages caused by accidental fire foam discharges.
